Misconception of Istikhara

These days we all are an age where information can be accessed on tips but, along with that still we have so many in our families and social circle who thinks that what exactly they are believing in; is concrete. But, probably it’s their lack of knowledge which enforces them in deciding what exactly they inherited from their forefathers.
Here, I am going to write some facts about Istikhara (Seeking the Best from Allah (swt).) that where actually we are misusing it. Today mostly people tell their answer by saying Allah didn’t show us anything in dream so we are not going for this decision. Few people even decide a single option through Istikhara. Few people consult third-persons just for the Istikhara for themselves.
Istakhara is the matter of a person with his Allah. So, how can one get the best results by asking anyone else to do it for him?  Obviously no one will be able to get. Secondly, when actually we should do Istikhara as if we look into the literal meanings of Istikhara then it’s seeking best from Allah. Obviously best from the actual scenario where one is confused in making a decision that what exactly is right for them from the options they have.
Istikhara is a type or pray which we will have to do for 7 consecutive days and nothing will be shown in dreams. Yes, it’s a misconception that one will be able to see green or water in dream than that decision is right. But there is nothing like seeing anything in dream. As dreams have no link with Istikhara at all. Result can be seeded in your brain and heart and you will be automatically diverted to that specific option.
Another point which I would like to mention here that if one remain confused after Istikhara then they should go for the decision they think as they both will be better for them. And that decision can be made through Ishtara (Consulting) instead of Istikhara.

Here I would also like to mention that I am not a Alim-e-Deen but these are just my findings through different books and different Islamic cleric.
