Criticism is the best policy

Morning of 4th March 2013, started with so many tweets obviously not of a natural bird but a social bird. Few people were tweeting about the match wins but I found two trends that were of my interest. One was related to the cruel blast that has snatched so many souls from the body of innocent people. And second trend was related to the criticism on Sharmila Farooqui's engagement. Being a Pakistani I love to criticize so got too much interest in that trend. But, unfortunately I spend so many years in a family of free thinkers and trained to criticize my own self before others.

So, while I was looking into the engagement of Sharmila Farooqui I just tried to place myself at her place. What if I'll have my engagement and will get a call from my office for a critical issue. Will I leave my engagement for it and got an answer from inside that 'NO'. We Pakistani are good in criticizing others, but we forget that we are the nation who often leave for prayer break for 2-3 hours and spend our Friday as a half day because we only perform 50% as spend 50% in thinking about our weekend plans.

And I am sure other than those who lie to their own selves will deny that they would have left their engagement or even wedding. But, I am sure no one even thinks to leave a single birthday of his/her children for their job. Careless of you are fire fighter or IT Professional or President of the country.

Well let’s say whole police force was deployed on the Mohatta Palace for an engagement ceremony and consider PPP as the most culprit government that what about the whole nation. Why 95% of Karachiites were sipping the last drop of enjoyment of their weekend drink. Few were busy with the shopping and few were puffing the smoke of Sheesha at Arabian Nights. It’s really very easy to criticize others but it was a call for whole nation. If 5% of Karachiites visited that place then they could save life of so many. But, few of us were busy in discussing that either Shias killed or Sunnis and few of them were tweeting about the link in between Mohatta place engagement ceremony and blast at Abbas town, before tweeting why they didn’t even had a thought to visit the place to pull a body out of that debris.

One more thing which I just realized that who has injected that much criticism in us so we are not being able to find the right way to help others but start criticizing others. Obviously those who debates a lot and earn from those debates (i.e. Media). And unfrotuntely we became zombies and acting as this media virus want us to act.

I didn’t write this blog as I am in favor of any political party but my major concern is if the government is incapable then it’s because of all those who only limited to debates.
